Darby Wiest is a licensed professional counselor who provides therapy for adults and adolescents (14 and older). Darby has a passion for working with those who are struggling with trauma, survivors of abuse and sexual assault, anxiety disorders, depression, and suicidality. She is trained in multiple trauma-focused therapies including CPT, CFTSI, EMDR and TF-CBT.
Darby primarily uses CBT and a strengths-based approach. Her purpose in the therapy room is to give clients a safe place to heal, be heard, and learn skills to empower them to reach their goals. Her clients can expect to be well informed on the therapy process, have structured but flexible sessions, and out-of-session practice assignments.
Outside of work, Darby enjoys being a dog mom, visiting coffee shops, watching true
crime shows, reading books, and attending as many concerts as possible.
