Leesa is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and holds a master’s degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from Messiah University. She is certified in the treatment of ADHD and is trained in CPT and TF-CBT for trauma in both children and adults. Leesa provides therapy across the lifespan and has experience supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, anxiety, and depression. She also offers Christian Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for clients seeking faith-integrated counseling.
Leesa has a particular interest in working with post-traumatic grief, chronic shame, and anger, recognizing these not as “problems to fix,” but as protective responses shaped by lived experience. Her work helps clients understand how trauma, loss, and unmet needs can show up in the body, relationships, and sense of self, and supports them in building healthier ways to cope, express emotion, and reconnect with meaning.
Leesa welcomes children and adults with cognitive, congenital, genetic, and physical disabilities. She believes in partnering with clients to identify strengths, increase self-understanding, and work toward meaningful goals through a developmental and trauma-informed lens. She values creating a safe, attuned, and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their identity, experiences, and emotions, beginning with a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in compassion.
